Having pain in ear since yesterday. Had a bit of itching but now just pain. No discharge from ear . What should be the first aid and future course of action

Please elaborate on your history. If there is any history of trauma with ear buds or fingernail after the itching.. If you are having the pain along with the itching it could be fungal. As of now for the pain take pcm or combiflam. If it reduces then fine otherwise consult further
