Dry cough turned into wet

Is it good or bad sign when dry cough turned into wet cough and getting mucus? Mucus colour is not dark yellow but slightly yellow mostly white. No fever and body pains. Only cough and throat pain.

It can happen with a normal cold. Take steam inhalation thrice daily Saline water gargles tbrice daily Plenty of fluids You should be better in a day or two
