Can u elaborate why Grafting was done and where and from where the graft is taken

After skin grafting of the lower leg, the first dressing is usually kept in place for 5-7 days to allow the graft to take (adhere and develop blood supply). After that, dressing changes are done every 2-3 days for the next 2-4 weeks depending on how well both the graft site and the donor site are healing. Total dressing care typically continues for 3-6 weeks. For a teaching job that involves mostly sitting and minimal physical strain, you can usually return in 4-6 weeks, provided the graft has healed well and you can keep the leg elevated when sitting.
