My father bitten by dog on 12 dec he will gake vaccine On 0 3 7 28 days He will take 0 3 7 dose After 28 days hell take one more dose He wants to know that these 4 dose are enough to immunized from rabies he is so tensed about this We dont know about dog had rabies or not But the vaccine is enough ..

Yes. These are sufficient. But the effect of these injections lasts only for 3 months. If he gets bitten by a dog again after 3 months then he has to take a full course again.

Hi dear Yes this is sufficient but if the wound is very deep then he might have to take immunoglobulin as well. Which depends upon his weight how much to take . So kindly consult on practo and send the picture of wound so i can guide u better Take care

There are two types of vaccine delivery If he got an intradermal injection on both arm the above preferred days is sufficient (0,3,7,28) If the vaccine is administered as intramuscular in one arm then a 5 day regime is preferred (0,3,7,14,28)
