You don't need any tetanus shot at this time,as you are protected.Presence of herpes is not associated with tetanus immunity.

T.T. is already taken previously, than no-needed for now.... Herpes is not of concern in this situation.
Next Steps
Tell me.... Whether the cut is superficial and clean or deep/contaminated....???... To know this if wound needs stitches....
Health Tips
kindly do Hepatitis B, HCV, HIV, reports just to rule out other worst condition and take vaccine for Hepatitis B to avoid future problems related to blood spread disease.

Since you received a tetanus vaccine in May, it should still be providing protection in October. If your primary vaccination series is complete, an additional dose is generally not required for a minor cut. Please clean the wound thoroughly with soap and running water, apply an appropriate antiseptic if needed, and keep it covered with a clean dressing.

Your tetanus dose from this May already protects you well, even for a wound from a rusty object. That protection lasts years, not months. You don't need another dose now.
Next Steps
Clean the cut well with soap and water, and keep it dry and covered for a few days. Not having a childhood vaccination record doesn't matter here, since this year's dose already covers you.
Health Tips
Herpes doesn't weaken your tetanus protection. Watch for redness, swelling, oozing, fever or jaw stiffness at the wound site. If any of these appear, see a general physician promptly.
