Difference in wbc count

Hello doctor My husband has done WBC  test.twice he had done actually the 1st report showed 19000 as the count and the after 2  days just to cross check he did another one where it showed a 10190 count so just wanted to confirm the what we needed to do in this case.confused.anytjing to worry.

Your husband had some infection which is clearing off. WBC count changes very fast.

Hello dear, First of all, May I know the reason for doing the test? If it’s done in an asymptomatic patient as a part of general health checkup, it’s not worrisome. It could be a laboratory error in the first report. Orelse if the person has any symptoms , consult me online or any physician in person.
