Hi, if my diet has adequate protein, not much but I have felt adequate because I feel very hungry after that. So does diet having adequate protein raise my chances of becoming diabetic if I balance it with eating fats or it would be fine? What is my risk factor of getting diabetes?

Hi Protein intake is no where related with getting diabetes...so not to worry on that at all... But high protein intake without the advise of doctor is harmful and raises the risk of various cancers especially wrt kidneys...so be aware..of that.. But plant based proteins are natural sources and are less harmful than animal based ones... Intake of proteins in moderate amounts in daily diet is fine and less harmful... Unless and until a medical professional advises you to take high protein for any medical condition then only you should take / consume otherwise not required... Anything in moderation is fine ... Again balancing proteins with fats is not related in any way.. So always try to consume protein by per kg body weight .. Thankyou
Health Tips
Consuming Pure vegetarian sources of proteins in limited amounts daily is not harmful..

Protein intake and diabetes are not related. So your intake of protein whether adequate or low will never give you diabetes.Excess protein intake can harm kidneys and give you gout.
Next Steps
If you are a vegetarian,no need to worry about your protein intake. Not needed at all to balance protein with fat.
Health Tips
