He needs lot complex carbohydrates(whole foods, fruits, vegetables) and quality proteins ( milk, curd, whole pulses,if you are a non vegetarian- eggs, fish) with sufficient fluids in his diet. Gud morning,pls kindly share your father's detail medical history,ryle tube feeding should be continued till he got recovered completely there after with the recommendation of his doctor u r consulting normal semi liquid or semi solid easily digestible form can be given.So pls consult his doctor first.
