Hello, from whatever you’ve said it does sound like depression. However, it is important to get diagnosis done. I am going to suggest a few tips here, however these will not cure your depression. They will help you manage it on and off. Ideally you must visit a professional at the earliest. It will surely make a difference.
Health Tips
1. Avoid making important decisions right now- since you aren’t completely fine your thoughts and feelings are coloured in a different light and your decisions may not be completely appropriate for the context.
2. Eat healthy- see to it that you have a balanced diet. Food plays a major role in mental health and wellness.
3. Engage in activities that make you feel good- there are chances that you may not like many things right now. Try and figure if there is anything that interests you, even a short walk in the garden will do.
4. Avoid staying alone for too long- cutting out from the world may feel comfortable for sometime but eventually it will only add more fodder to your negative thoughts and feelings. So stay connected to near and dear ones, if possible share your concerns with them.
5. Chunking work- whatever work or tasks you may have , please break it down into smaller tasks and achieveable parts so that you don’t feel burdened with anything.
6. Please feel free to seek professional help. It is required.
