Hello, Having depression in the background of medical illnesses like PCOD, and hypothyroidism is a common occurrence. Both these medical disorders are risk factors and are likely to predispose you for depression. Hence the best possible approach for you is to first of all seek consultation with an endocrinologist for PCOD and hypothyroidism. Simultaneously you should seek consultation with a psychiatrist near you for assessment and management of depression. Rest issues like tolerance to mediation and other issues can be discussed with your psychiatrist in person. A combination approach of mediation and/or psychological intervention is likely to be of help as per your description. However further comments can be made after a comprehensive assessment. Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future.
