First we need to assess the extent of tooth damage. If it is very close to nerves and in the position to save which can be evaluated on x ray then root canal treatment would be advised rather than just filling with cement. This need to be followed by crown over a tooth.

If the decay is in Enamel and also extending into dentin it can be simply restored with available filling materials of your choice. Yes your tooth can be saved with RCT and cap. Post may be required if tooth structure is not sufficient.

Hi friend , I would advice you to get a dental x ray and see the extent of decay... from your description it seems that your teeth is decayed severely and might need a root canal treatment which will save the teeth and a good cap on that might serve your pourpose

Hello..Based on x ray and extent of tooth decay,treatment can be done.If it is superficial ,cementing(filling) can be done and if it is deep nearing the vital tissue root canal treatment can be done .
