Suggestions for Relief: Continue Allegra (Fexofenadine) as prescribed — it's an appropriate choice. If itching continues, an additional antihistamine at night like chlorpheniramine or hydroxyzine may help, but only under doctor supervision, especially if drowsiness is a concern. You may apply calamine lotion on rashes to soothe itching. It’s safe and provides temporary relief. Wear loose, cotton clothing and avoid heat or sweating, which may worsen the itch. Avoid any NSAIDs or steroid creams unless prescribed, as these can worsen outcomes in dengue. Mark HELPFUL 👍👍
Next Steps
If symptoms worsen or new ones like bleeding, weakness, or drowsiness appear, reconsult your doctor immediately.
