Respected doctors why medical science still cant cure cancer of stage 4 so much studing going on but still no results found

Darwin's theory. Survival of the fittest. Like we like to survive, cancer also likes to survive. When we find a treatment for a particular cancer, it mutates and the treatment becomes ineffective. Research in Oncology takes many years just to know if treatment is effective, how much survival is improved. Few years back even Malaria and TB were not curable but now they are. We hope science will progress and find cure for stage IV cancers one day.
