Covid or normal cough ?

2020-03-29 15:36:37
I had intermittent dry cough/ irritation in throat and little bit of wheezing for last 3-4 days. I at times feel feverish or chill but when I check temperature, it's always around 98.6-98.9. I visited doc and got anti allergens meds. After that cough reduced. Since yesterday, I again have some cough, same symptoms. Should I get covid tested ? I do not have history of travel but was going to work and have stepped out twice to buy essentials.

Hi, don't worry .....this must be a normal allergic cough which will not go easily....should be treated properly......COVID 19 has symptoms like dry cough , sore throat, fever , diarrhoea , breathing difficulty, if your symptoms are worsening like having difficulty in breathing .....you can take COVID test....or otherwise you don't need it......because some people has very mild symptoms of COVID and some will not even have symptoms at all....but they will get affected.....so wait for next 3 days since it is already 4 days .......
Next Steps
wait and self quarantine yourself from your family members for another 3 days
Health Tips
easily digestible food plenty of rest and get tested for COVID 19 if symptom persists or worsens

Did u take all precautions when u go out. If so then it can be allergy. do this 1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink Hot Liquids --Hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results and gives relief in long term Consult online with details

Hi, Symptoms of coronavirus disease Covid19 are fever cough breathlessness abdominal upset etc. Remember that most of the cases approximately 80 to 85% symptoms will be very mild or person would be without any symptoms that is asymptomatic. It's also not necessary that everyone who are infected with coronavirus will develop all the symptoms at the onset. If you are having symptoms you must take proper care of yourself. If severity is less then you should just talk to your family doctor and get yourself clinically examined. One thing you all should keep in mind that despite coronavirus outbreak, cases other than coronavirus disease has not reduced. Flu, upper respiratory tract infection due to various bacteria viruses are still very common.
