Cough small amount of blood

Hi sir/mem My mother has been diagnosed with TB 1 weeks back and she has started TB medicine  last 1week . Scince last 2 days she has been cough ing small amount of blood.now What to do? Please🙏🙏🙏 tell me

kindly consult with her xray..need to see the cavity/lesion..we can manage it accordingly..donot ignore the bleed

If there is minimal blood stain in sputum , continue medicines . If there is significant blood , hemoptysis , need to consult a pulmonologist and needs to be worked up

A new chest xray should be done to see the extent of lung involvement and damage if any, vascular cause is also very common, please get her evaluated as soon as possible .if it is due to TB after some time it will improve but hemoptysis should be controlled to prevent any kind of cardiovascular compromise

Pl continue Tb medication. However  Pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment for haemoptysis.

Continue tb medication If blood in sputum is recurring it requires supportive medication
