Cord around neck slightly

Hello, I'm planning a VBAC. During my 36-week scan, no cord around the neck was detected, but at 37 weeks and 2 days, my doctor has identified a slight cord around the neck. I've been advised to closely monitor fetal movements, which is causing me anxiety. Can the cord move away after 37 weeks?

In third trimester presence or absence of a loop of cord around the babies’s neck does not necessarily change the mode of management. Discuss with your doctor in detail and go accordingly be back itself. PJ individualistic decision and there is no role for induction. Argumentation of labour, don’t worry about cord around neck.

A single loop of cord around the neck is not much a matter of concern Your doctor has correctly advised you to monitor fetal movements For vbac what is important is scar thickness
