Hello, you can do salt water rinses, this will give you temporary relief from pain.You need to visit a dentist get it checked. Get an x-ray done.if required get it removed.

Hi..When the wisdom tooth erupts it causes pain and swelling in the area. But there is a certainty that the direction of the tooth is in an unfavorable direction like towards the adjacent tooth which can damage the adjacent tooth and cause similar symptoms. Sometimes it comes in favorable direction but it's unable to come out properly due to impingement with bone. Any of these conditions can be easily diagnosed with a simple x-ray and a check up. If everything is fine, medications can help in relieving pain. If the condition is unfavorable then sometimes we elect removing the wisdom tooth to so as to prevent any further damage to surrounding bone and tooth.
