On day 1, I had lack of sleep, and started my periods. I felt nauseous and feverish that day. Couldn't eat all day, and threw up mostly gas on eating two spoons rice at night. Day 2 I felt weak and feverish, Fever was 100-101.5 at one point. But I could eat and by night I felt ok. Day 3 I was fine. Had spicy chicken and night. Day 4 Severe diarrhoea since morning, couldn't eat anything all day. Was extremely weak. Anything I tried to drink went down the toilet immediately. Had half banana and orsl all day. By night I could have few spoons khichdi, and had loperamide. Day 5 I had mild diarrhoea, couldn't eat eat khichdi and banana and ors. Had loperamide again. Day 6 I ate thukpa and some normal simple food. Mild diarrhoea still there. Day 7, today, woke up. Mild diarrhoea still there. I feel if I have any normal day to day food i will have bad diarrhoea again as stool is still not solidying. What to do?

A week of diarrhoea that started with a fever and viral illness often means your gut is still recovering even after the infection itself has cleared. This post-infectious phase, sometimes with a temporary intolerance to certain foods, is common and usually settles over two to three weeks as the gut lining heals.
Next Steps
Keep going with bland food like khichdi, banana and plain rice, and reintroduce other food slowly over the next week. Avoid spicy and oily meals for now, and continue ORS through the day. A probiotic can help speed up recovery.
Health Tips
See a general physician for a stool test if this hasn't settled in another week, or sooner if you get fever, blood in the stool or can't keep fluids down.
