Cold during pregnancy 17 weeks 4 days

2023-10-25 05:29:20
I have been suffering from cold and cough It started with cough and then got cold. Now I have lot of white colored phlegm I consulted the doctor and he told its viral infection and prescribed Montec lc for 3 days. I have taken it but I still have slight runny nose and phlegm (reduced). What are the next steps Is it going to harm my fetus and its health? Or will baby get some birth defects due to this cold?

I suggest you should consult a General Physician in your area for a physical examination. A decision should be made whether you should be given antibiotics and cough syrup or not.
