I am already on medication for my issues but after going to work I feel even more stressed as maybe my colleague fail to understand what I'm going through I'm thinking of taking some time off work. Is that something that I should do? Can it be prescribed by a doctor?

Just the opposite do not leave work talk to the doctor edit medication and go along with work. Only if you work you will be able to go across this problem not by staying at home
