Chondromalacia patella left knee

Left knee paining since more than 1 month, doctor has suggested me for quadriceps exercise and said me chondromalacia patella, I want to know more abt this prblm and plz help me out what to do and not to do, and is this issue is serious prblm n how long does it ll take to heal.

It's not serious , but you need to be regular with exercises . Physiotherapy will help . Patellar taping will also be helpful.

First of all I ll like to confirm you it’s not a major issue and you will be all right. Coming to your problem chondromalacia is just a cartilage deficiency disease which in layman means that your cartilage layer is getting degenerated. For now without a consultation it will be difficult for an absolute diagnosis but you need to meet a physiotherapist and learn some exercises which will help strengthen your knee and reduce pain . There are also supplements/medicines which will help you with strengthen your cartilage layer . For time being avoid jumping jogging and stair walking .take over the counter painkillers for pain and apply ice if it aggravates.
