Chills without fever

2025-05-18 05:03:27
My sister moved to Germany for higher studies two weeks ago. Although it’s summer, the temperature can drop as low as 4°C. She’s been experiencing sudden chills — feeling cold all of a sudden — several times, even indoors, without having a fever. During these episodes, her heart also beats faster than normal. Her medical insurance is not yet activated to get this checked. Is this something to be concerned about?

She should cover herself nicely. She should have warm water, hot tea or coffee, avoid alcohol , check her temperature and pulse rate 3-4 times in a day. If she has fever she will have to get her blood tests done.
