I'm having a problem for nearly around 5+ years. I will be having cough that releases mucus which I would spit out. That was rare previously and I thought that it might be due to air conditioning in my IT offices. Now I changed my profession to banking sector (Dec 2020) where there is no AC. Recently I'm having cough very frequently and regularly. I'm feeling something in my throat and I cough which releases mucus from my throat. I'm spitting that out and this cough happens minimum 5 to 8 times daily nowadays. Today I'm feeling a little pain over my left chest while breathing in and coughed out two times till now (clear mucus no blood). Wondering why this mucus is continuing and why it is staying there in throat always. Eventually I developed a behavior by trying to clearing my throat to test whether I have mucus in my throat.
