Kindly tell me what is there in the report..My father is facing severe vertigo problems,nausea,vomiting..Is it due to cervical problem or something else..Kindly guide me..I'm very tensed..

The x-ray is suggestive of wear and tear. It reflects that your father is in a profession where he has to look down for longer periods of the day and for many years together. Vertigo can be due to continued looking down which stretches the nerves on back of neck

Degenerative spine .. expected with age. It can be a cause for vertigo , but there are many other causes too. Needs clinical evaluation.

Degerative spine can b cause of vertigo Get MRI cervical spine Get her ENT check-up too.

X ray which is 6 month old and vertigo in M/ 49 yr requir attention. Check cbc, blood sugars and ECG. If normal advise rest and vit B complex. ( Bening postural vertigo ) will subside in 1-2 weeks time.
Next Steps
If no Relif in 1-2 weeks ask for fresh x ray / MRI

Cervical collar is not to be worn for more than 2-4 hrs in a day.
