I have a history of 23rd week pregnancy loss due to short cervix , had the vaginal stitch at 16week and TAC at 20th week , TAC was done when CL was 1cm and funneling, Now I am awaiting ivf to be done since I have pcod, However my ivf doctor told, have to undergo bed rest in any hospital from 4th month, I am having TAC already placed during first pregnancy baby was taken out via Cesarean section and keeping the abdominal stitch. When the TAC was performed the doctor who performed the TAC told no need of bed rest after tac , my question is does a bed rest required from 4th month?

Yes bed rest is required after encirclage. Your doctor may have meant you don't need complete bed rest as in you can occasionally walk or go to the bathroom in this state.
