I was having mild brown discharge sometimes. . i m in 13th week of pregnancy... doctor said it's cervical erosion or ulcer...is it harmful and why does it occur?

Hi dear Dont worry In pregnancy because of high progesterones discharge is quite normal However pls make vaginal area hygenic and use Vwash for washing and keep the area dry.. Avoid intercourse

You should get a Pap smear done. If it can exclude cancer then you should continue with your pregnancy. Cervical erosion or ulcer should be treated after delivery.

Get a pap smear and a local examination done. Cervical erosion needs to be eroded

It can be a normal finding in pregnancy mam. But get a PAP smear done to be on the safer side.
