My 2 year old daughter having cavity problem upper teeth. Dentist suggest us for RCT. We want the second opinion. She is too young for this. Kindly suggest.

The child surely will need rcts and the treatment must be given timely. Please contact a pedodontist and go ahead with the treatment.

Technically it's nothing, It's just filling. In her case it's filling of roots. That's it. If decay is superficial you do filling of tooth crown, if it's deep you just fill the tooth root. It's the only option to save her teeth.

Yes she needs root canal therapy for her anteriors...need to preserve those teeth at least till she turns 6 yrs...as they act as a space maintainer for the subsequent permant tooth which would erupt at that age...early damage or removal will lead to space closure and mal aligned permanent teeth in future..
