Cavity problem
Dentist did not take any radio graph or any testing and when they gave first treatment dentist also not gave any x ray. Only started cavity treatment

Though X rays are helpful in diagnosis, they are not required for every case. If cavity is not very deep and dentist can judge it clinically, X ray is not required.
So don't worry if X ray is not taken.
After cavity filling if there is any pain then
X ray may be required.

Its not necessary to take X-RAY all the time.
Conditions where X-RAY's are taken:- 1- if there is history of pain. 2- If the cavity is in between two teeth where its difficult to judge the depth of cavity.
Since the child is small and its clearly visible that cavity is not deep then X-RAY's are not required. But if RCT is done then in that case X-RAY's are taken.

Xrays are only required when cavities are visibily deep or patient gives history of pain...
In early cavities,treatment can be given without them.

Only a doctor can decide if the X-ray is needed for his confirmation of the diagnosis.. I don't think so u are qualified to comment on that aspect.. and also considering the age factor he might have not wished to expose you to radiation, or the diagnosis was confirmed only by the clinical picture..

Radiographs are not always required for all the cavities.... please let the dentist be the best judge whether a radiograph is required or not, because every x-ray carries with it the risk of radiation exposure, which has to be kept to the minimum whenever required and also avoided if possible...
secondly the xrays done these days are digital and can be obtained through email or in a CD....
