Hello Sir. Hope your son is fine. Can you pls explain the wound and the vaccination history of your son? Is the cat vaccinated pet or a stray animal? Pls avoid getting TT if he is upto date in vaccination and if the wound is deeper, anti rabies vaccination alone is not enough. Immunoglobulins should be administered.

No need to worry if there is only scratch get tetanus shot if your son is below 5 years old no need to give if you have already vaccinated him for teatanus in prior and watch out for any infection or bleeding

Hey gentleman! If there was bleeding at the place of scratch marks then you should get vaccination and if there was no bleeding and just scratch then no need to get vaccination. However in both cases you should clean the wound properly and follow proper aseptic precautions to get it heal.
