Can I start period on progesterone

I was taking progesterone for spotting issues starting mid cycle.. my symptoms did get better and I was feeling fine. I am still taking progesterone and I am feeling that my period is about to start today I am having a little cramp and brown spotting.. today is my cd 26 of 28 day cycle. I started spotting 3 days after ovulation ( ovulation happened at cd11) and started taking duphaston at cd14... my doctor is not available today and hence I am asking .. I f you can help me with some insights here ?

Your mid cycle spotting needs evaluation. Better to consult online for proper discussion. If u stop duphaston u will get your periods. U need ultrasound scan to see everything is fine
