Reversible is not possible!!!
If you are diabetic, you will be diabetic lifetime but yes you may come into the remission phase for a few months or few years where you need not to take any medicine.

Your condition is very high HBA1C , it is very difficult to bring down to 5.7 levels. Strict glycemic control with drugs , diet and exercise may be possible bring down back to normal .
