Calcium deficiency

My mother is having calcium deficiency. Her left toe bone has increased in size coz of which it pains when she walk. We consulted orthopaedic so he's saying it's coz of calcium deficiency. Being a vegetarian, wanted to consult which all fruits n Vegetables would be beneficial for her in terms of calcium intake n fiber..?? She also has sodium deficiency. Thanks for your help.

She must eat more of vegetables and less pulse. Vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, squash. Fruits like Apple and berries only. Take oats, millets etc. Take proper sound sleep and less of anxiety because it affects our metabolism. Avoid to take more of tea in a day.

Hi there...foods which are rich in calcium are green leafy vegetables, okra, broccoli, green beans, almonds. Apart from this evening milk, cheese, yogurt and fish are also rich in calcium. Also she can take oral medications like tab.shelcal 500mg once daily after food, for additional calcium supplements. Which I am sure the doctor would have prescribed. Green leafy vegetables and raw fruits will also increase fibre content. Foods like seafood, vegetables, spices, salt also have high sodium content. If her sodium level is very low, the kindly consult a general physician for additional supplements like sodium bicarbonate tablets. Hope this helps you
