C section stitches not dissolve

2022-07-24 13:43:21
Had my C-Section on 14 June 2022 with Vicryl Rapide stitches, however I can see the knots have not yet dissolved till now. I just wash the area with water and no soap. How long does it take to dissolve completely? Do I need to use warm water when bathing?

Vicryl Rapid takes about 6-8 weeks to dissolve. But why do you want to see or feel knots if the wound is otherwise dry.
