Hi This is sridevi 33 years old Iam suffering from gastric issue and recently it's increasing Burning sensation occurs in middle chest area suggest precautions

Sridevi, burning in the middle of the chest that is worsening is most often acid reflux (GERD), specially if it comes after meals, on lying down or with spicy food and tea. A PPI like pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach in the morning for 4 weeks, with an antacid at night, usually settles it. Along with that, no lying down for 2 hours after eating, smaller meals, and cut down tea, coffee and chillies. If the burning is more like pressure, spreads to the arm or jaw, comes on walking, or you have vomiting of blood, black stools or weight loss, that needs urgent hospital assessment, not tablets.
Next Steps
Start the PPI course and get a CBC and an ECG once, since it has been going on a while. If it does not clearly improve in 3-4 weeks, you need an endoscopy. Book a Practo consult with me and I will fix the prescription and duration for you.
