I observed brown spotting yesterday and today observed red spotting with no other symptoms. Is it common?

Spotting could be due to trauma , infections ,polyp , ovarian cysts or hormonal imbalance. Ger yourself examined by a gynaecologist and also get a pap smear done if not already done before
