Most probably your removable retainer must be broken. If so it will be repaired in very less time. If permanent then plz visit your dentist as soon as possible for you

Hi mam your removable or fixed upper retainer is broken? If Removable retainer is broken then visit any nearby dentist and get an impression done so that you can get the removable retainer within a day or two. Till then wear your broken retainer itself atleast during night. If Fixed retainer is broken in a single tooth or so you can visit your dentist and get it fixed immediately and later have a consultation with your orthodontist. Please don't delay waiting for your orthodontist as it is an emergency.

Broken retainer can be considered as orthodontic emergency. If it not grossly deformed or mutilated , than is can be used for couple of days , your orthodontist will be best judge to suggest you in this regard.
