Hi doctors, so I just had a tooth extracted few days back due to decay (lower second last molar). It's healing well and dentist said that after 8-10 weeks, she'll fix a bridge in that empty spot. Now, one of my lower front incisor had also chipped away, which doctor had said can be fixed by RCT. I wanted to know, can I go for the bridge fix and the RCT on lower incisor at the same time after 8-10 weeks so that I can take all the pain at once? Or they have to do be done differently and at different times?

It's not a time dependant process treating these two issues they can be treated in two to three settings. Bridge and root canal can be done in 3 appointments or two appointments.

Hello As you mentioned, it is lower second molar then the bridge usually doesn’t work out in such conditions as we had to take support from the third molar So implant would be better in your case

If the tooth has been extracted a few days back the bridge process needs to wait for another 20 or little more days till your healing is complete . Meanwhile get the tooth ahead treated.

You can get both procedures at the same time since they are for two different teeth. Patients and doctors usually avoid doing everything in one go as it becomes tedious. Giving a bridge in a lower second molar should always be a last resort as you have to take support from the third molar, which is difficult to keep clean. So please consider getting dental implant done for the extracted tooth and ask your doctor to evaluate for the same
