there seems to be a problem with latching. this happens in the initial days if the mother has an inverted nipple or if the baby's mouth is too small and the nipple is too big.
you need to consult with a lactation specialist or a pediatrician or even a gynaecologist in person, so they can examine what is going wrong.
until then the baby can be fed expressed breastmilk. kindly avoid bottle feeding as this will lead to nipple confusion and further aggravate the problem, not to mention the risk of infection.
