My orthodontist suggests me to remove one teeth  but he is saying I might need to use cap for the space that would have been created due to removal of tooth. Should I go with the extraction?? .

You ae witha specialist who knows your teeth well. You may ho for interproximal reduction instead but you would be compromising enamel. Your dentist may be right

The reason why he says matters, there are many situations in which the tooth to be removed, 1. For midline adjustment 2. For occlusal settlement 3. For periodontal issues 4. Untreatable carious tooth and many more reasons.
