Hello sir! It seems from your conversation that the bony injury that you have incurred is periarticular or around the joint in the finger. Peri-articular and intra-articular fractures need anatomic reduction i.e should be fixed in situ. However, diaphyseal (long shaft) fractures of fingers and hand may be treated conservatively in majority of undisplaced fractures. In short, we need xray pictures :)
