Blood in phlegm

2023-11-29 08:31:22
My son is 5 years old. Has cold for past 3 days. No cough, no fever. He is active and going to school. Till y yesterday, mucus was thick yellow, comes out only when he blows his nose. But today whenever he blows his nose to remove the phlegm, we see blood in it. We noticed it 4 times today. Should we take any blood tests or x ray??

Hello, avoid blowing nose to remove mucus as it causes injury to tiny vessels. Kindly consult physically for examination.
