Bleeding gums
This is Sathish.M from major brands. I have bleeding gums . Pls suggest any solutions/ remedies to cure it.
Bleeding gums can be due to -
1. Plaque build up leading to gum inflammation - will be reversed by good brushing with soft brush, and a good toothpaste twice daily
2. Tartar buildup leading to gum inflammation -
Needs cleaning from a dentist.
Also good brushing with soft brush, and a good toothpaste twice daily by yourself to prevent or minimize tartar buildup.
3. Above 2 are the most common causes. But if gum bleeding is not stopping within 10 to 20 minutes it can be due to some general health issues too.

Bleeding gum indicate infection in gums that can progress to pyorrhoea. You will have to visit your dentist and get a round of scaling done following which some instructions will be given to you that you have to follow religiously such as doing warm saline rinses, using anti-sensitivity toothpaste, using mouthwash for a while, massaging your gums, flossing your teeth etc.
Before getting the scaling done, you cannot cure it at home but yes after that you can definitely maintain the health of your gums on your own
