Bleeding from gums is occurring from 3 weeks. Even after doing scaling the previous week, the problem is persisting. No pain is there now but bleeding is not ceasing. Blood is observed usually after brushing in the morning. Kindly advice.

Bleeding gums is the most objective sign of gum disease, meaning if you have bleeding gums you definitely have gum disease which eventually leads to tooth loss. Usual cleaning is done in order to remove stains and tartar from tooth surface, but when you have such OBVIOUS bleeding gums you need DEEP CLEANING, Done by GUM SPECIALIST (PERIODONTIST). Further evaluation of your gum disease can be done at followup. At CARE DENTAIRE we assure you of complete relief.

Hello, Mam,if the bacteria is deep seated,on the root surfaces, then a regular scaling procedure might not help. You need to undergo procedures like curettage/flap surgery. We need to run a few investigations/x-rays to arrive at a proper diagnosis.Regards,Dr Suman Makam,Dental Arts,Jayanagar
