Tryptomer (Amitriptyline) can sometimes increase blood pressure, heart rate, and cause palpitations, especially at higher doses. In patients with hypertension, it must be used cautiously. If BP remains high or side effects occur, alternatives like Mirtazapine alone, Trazodone (low dose), or non-sedating sleep stabilizers may be considered after medical review.
