Visit a dental clinic and get an X-ray done for both teeth to ascertain the depth of the decay. Depending on the extent - your dentist will advise a root canal treatment or extraction. Root canal therapy should always be first choice as it can ‘save’ your tooth as opposed to removal.

It depends upon extent of the cavity..it can be saved with filling or root canal treatment depending upon the condition of the tooth..get extraction done if it is not restorable.

If the cavity is painful,  then you need to go for root canal treatment and then a cap And if the cavity is not painful you can do a filling with ur tooth structure. And if the cavity tooth is shaking then it is better to go for extraction
Next Steps
