Physiotheraphy in the form of IFT and USG massage might be helpful. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury or buldge. Muscle relaxant and mild painkillers might help in resistant cases. Consult orthopaedic dr or online. Back muscle strengthening exercises once pain settles.

Goodevng sudden pain in back after heavy work or weightlift can cause both disc prolapse or muscle cramp in disc prolapse u will get pain evn if u walk small distance and pain increases evn with cough and relieved with rest some time you will have pain along the leg due to nerve compression, where as in back muscle spasm pain is more locally and increased with movements
Next Steps

Looking at the history given by you and assuming that you are unable to seek medical care due to corona virus lock down I am giving my opinion. This appears to be muscular sprain. Avoid bending forward and lifting weight. You might need to get examined by an orthopaedic surgeon and get an X-ray Review these reports with an orthopaedic surgeon or consult me with reports directly on Practo
Next Steps
If you don't have any history of diabetes , hypertension, renal disease or allergies then you can try Tab voveran d 50 mg twice a day along with hot fomentation, volitra gel and rest.
Health Tips
Caution to be exercised before taking medication as there are chances of acidity, nausea , vomiting, gastric irritation, constipation and allergic reaction . if this happens then please show the nearest consultant on an emergency basis.

It’s acute back sprain. Take rest not to lift any such weights for at least one week. Apply locally any gel like volini. If it doesn’t settle visit a doctor.
Health Tips
Don’t lift any weight, don’t bend forward.
