Back pain incident

Hi, Actually when i was 16 yrs got back pain while lifting weights then consulted a Doctor and he prescribed an injection. Later i didn't get back pain. Now a days often sometimes i will get lower back pain might be because of that past incident. Please suggest me whom to consult Orthopedist or physiotherapist and how will it effect me in future... Thanks in advance.

Infrequent pain suggest that your back is hurting... May be because of weak core muscles or poor posture.. so U should be diagnosed first....

It might be due to weakness of core muscles and disc problem. U need Physiotherapy for pain relief and strengthening of core muscles. Also avoid weight lifting and forward bending

It could be due to disc prolapse in your back, Manual physiotherapist can push your disc,back to it's normal place, GOOD LUCK

It is not necessary that the pain you have is only because of your past back problem. You need to find the cause of pain first. Where is it exactly?

10 years is a long time, caused of pain may be postural or biomechanical.Since you had an injection for pain relief so high chances are there , that your back muscles and core stabilisers are weak and they are not able to with stand with the stress. All these kind of issues are reversible in nature in earlier stages but if ignored pain can be permanent.

Since your past history of back pain is 10 yrs backs and later there was no pain. So this present pain might not b related to your old condition. You back muscles and core muscles might b weak so that could be one of the reason for on and off pain in back. Uou need to consult a Physiotherapist. They will assess you and give you appropriate treatment
