Back pain and front side pain

2018-08-04 18:22:07
My Mom is undergoing traction and IFT physiotherapy since two days. She was suffering from right side back and front pain . Had taken a MRI spine scan and orthopedic doctor prescribed the above therapy and HPQS 200 tablet twice daily. But physiotherapist told not to have that medicine and that medicine is for malaria and arthritis. She had stopped having it since last night. After the first therapy she had severe pain and today also same pain. Is this normal in this condition.or do we need to take a another opinion. Please suggest. Also she have syst in right ovary and fibroids in uterine walls.

There can be little increase in pain when you start the treatment. However, but if the pain persists, you should go for second opinion.
Next Steps
Having faith in the treatment will help, don't be too skeptical.

Hello, the medicine prescribed by the Ortho is definitely used for inflammation and sometimes used for pain so please start with the medication.
Next Steps
Regarding increasing pain, it can be increased when traction is given with more than or @25 kg of weight for more than 10 minutes. Please also take hot pack.
Health Tips
If the pain does not reduce after three days even reducing timing of traction, you have to make it stop.
