Baby's head very hot

Baby's head is very hot, normally when he gets fever his head will be very hot, now I checked currently his body temperature is 98.3 , is that he will get fever later on?, he had mild cold

Check for hands and feet. If they are cold and other body parts are warm. Look out for fever then. And give paracetamol

98.3 is not the fever ....Normally every babies head is little bit hit as compared to other body parts ....Just record the temp.in armpit when u feel head is more hot and if temp.is  more than 99.5F ,is consider the fever and give paracetamol syrup as per weight

It's normal..if temperature is more than 99.5 it's fever.
