Hi. As you said eventually it can decrease breast milk supply. Beeter feed by breast through proper lactation consultation for 15 mins every time. If cry still persist then you can think of other means

Try to follow feeding techniques,latch properly for proper breastfeeding. Gradually baby will feed well

Visit physically to nearby lactation consultant

Yes it will decrease the milk supply You just need keep Direct breast feeding so that it gives more emotional attachment to both the baby and mother which inturn increases the breast milk

What is age of baby now?. Remember always try to Latch 1 st while feeding baby even If now latch issues as we don't know when it will improve so always try Latching and breastfeeding baby . If after try there is no improvement then give Expressed Breast milk with Wati Spoon.Do not give your Expressed milk by bottle.If still need help in Latching baby then consult to Lactation Consultant whichever is available in your city.
